Oak Framed Orangery

The Design Process

To start your project journey we offer a complimentary design consultation from one of our experienced, nationwide designers. This allows us to spend time with you to discuss your needs for the project and for us to see the available space.

Following the consultation, our in-house creative team then work on creating a visual sketch for your proposed project, working closely with the designer to bring your project visions to life whilst ensuring all your requirements are included. Our extensive design software also allows us to make your project a reality in the form of a 3D drawing, allowing you to receive a true reflection of what your finished project could look like.

The designer will then return to meet with you to present the design we have created along with a quotation for the project. Our design consultations are complimentary and at no obligation, to ensure every client has the opportunity to obtain their perfect design without the pressure to commit.

Our Designers

Whilst our designers have many years’ experience in oak framed design we encourage our clients involvement in the design process and will work closely with you on the project drawings, and revise as required, until you are happy the design reflects your requirements. Our designers have an extensive portfolio of projects including both traditional and contemporary builds to suit all needs and requirements on all types of properties.

Our designers have a vast understanding of Listed Properties, National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and are aware that they require sensitive designs. Oak is the perfect material for a project of this nature, as its natural subtle beauty is unimposing, seeming to have always been part of the existing property.

Planning & Build

If your project requires planning, our in-house planning team are happy to undertake this for you, this service can be included as part of your project. Our team have both experience and an understanding of working with planning and conservation officers and will take the confusion and stress of obtaining planning away from you.

Once planning is approved, we then process your full working drawings and structural calculations. Your project will then be hand crafted in our on-site workshops ready for us to come to site to build.

We are also able to handle Building Regulations and SAP Calculations should they be required.

Timescales of Installation

Our projects generally can be built between 12- 18 weeks after planning approval, depending on the size and nature of the project, and the client’s requirements (Supply only projects may have shorter lead times).

Before Delivery, your site will be inspected to ensure your builder’s base satisfies our drawings to prevent any delay to delivery and installation.

Once your project has been erected a final inspection will take place to ensure the project meets our standards.
